I hold a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology from Roehampton University. I am a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society (www.bps.org.uk) and a Registered Member of the Health and Care Professions Council (www.hcpc-uk.org.uk).
I also hold a Masters degree in Health Psychology from the University of Westminster. Health Psychology is an area of practice which focuses on health behaviours, psychological and emotional effects of illness and behaviour change such as smoking cessation.
I completed my undergraduate and Honours Degrees in Psychology in my native South Africa and have lived in the UK since 2003. I began counselling in 1997, and have gained considerable experience in many different areas, including:
